Would you like to combine a leisurely winter hike with a fast toboggan run? Then off you go to the Allriss Alm in Val die Fleres/Pflerschtal. After a well-deserved break it’s time to head back to the valley on the forest road.

No “Highway to Hell”, but a worthwhile and easy hiking path leads from Innerpflersch through the forest and along three impressive waterfalls directly to “Hölle” (German for “hell”), the biggest waterfall of Pflersch.

No pain, no gain is the motto during this demanding hike, which leads you to the Tribulaun hut and the picturesque Sand Lake. The surroundings will enchant you.

Would you like to follow in the footsteps of emperors and kings? Then hop onto the saddle and explore the old Brenner Pass road by mountain bike. Fitness and experience are required.

How about a sunny greeting from Monte Cavallo/Rosskopf, Sterzing’s local mountain? From the end of July to the beginning of September you can experience the unique sunrise in the mountains on a guided hike.

Not only little racers will enjoy this family experience! Simply take a seat in the soapbox-like carts and race down the mountain cart track in the Ladurns hiking area.

At the Edelweiss Hut in Ladurns you’ll be sure to catch family happiness. The adjacent mountain lake is perfect for fishing and enjoying the view. Fishing equipment can be rented on site.

The Skytrek climbing park in Sterzing takes you to seventh heaven. Professional guides will show how to to conquer the six parcours of varying difficulty. For children from the age of 4.

Little knights and damsels feel very much at home at Reifenstein Castle, which is located at Sterzinger Moos in Freienfeld. Especially impressive: the underground dungeon, the torture chamber, and the living quarters.
