You definitely have never seen anyhting like this! The highest and most beautiful earth pyramids shoot up in several places. You are sure to gaze in amazement at these giants of clay.

Get in! The train is leaving. Built in 1907, the historic Rittner Bahn originally brought guests from Bolzano to Ritten. Today the narrow-gauge railway from the Belle Epoque only runs on the high plateau.

Cold, clear water and pure mountain air – where can one find that? At Wolfsgrubner Lake in Oberbozen. Here you can go swimming and fishing in summer and ice-skating in winter.

Listen up, mountaineers! Several easy hikes take you to the summit of Corno del Renon/Rittner Horn. When you reach the top, you can enjoy a wonderful view in all directions. Two words: Breathtakingly beautiful.

An extraordinarily cool experience awaits you at the Kaserhof. Take one of the lamas on a rope and walk with your companion over stick and stone. Lama trekking is great fun for the whole family.

Would you like to know where the witches are lurking? At Hexenboden near Lengstein. You don’t believe us? Then take a close look at the larch tree in the centre. Can you spot the witches’ broom?

Grab your bow and arrow and put your aim to the test. The archery course near Soprabolzano is perfect for playing Robin Hood with a real pro’.

Would you like to be a bee, be a busy busy bee? Visit the Museum of Apiculture at the Plattner Bienenhof to learn more about the hard-working animals and admire the world from a bee’s perspective on the educational trail.

Hiking can be incredibly fun and exciting – especially on the panoramic path with mountain pine labyrinth, on the Wald Wild Wunder trail, on the Freud promenade, on the Lengstein round tour, or on the Sommerfrische trail.

12 minutes separate you from Bolzano. Take the Ritten cable car to reach the provincial capital of Bolzano, where not only Ötzi, but also interesting museums and fantastic shopping opportunities await you.
