A night (and day) at the museum
Experience MUSE in Trento!
Six levels full of natural wonders, technology highlights, and knowledge treats. Welcome to MUSE in Trento!
Do you have a thirst for knowledge? Are you a bit of a tech freak? Nature lover? Then MUSE in Trento is the perfect place for you. Here you can experience exciting and interesting facts about the world of nature, science, and sustainability, spread over six levels.
- On the ground floor, you’ll find the Science Gym, where physical and mathematical laws are explained in a playful and interactive way.
- The first floor is dedicated to various topics: humans from Neanderthals to Homo Sapiens, sustainability including rethinking visions of the future, and the infinity of the universe – with VR and 3D projections.
- The second floor is all about geology, natural resources, and animals in Italy, as well as approaches to protecting them.
- Children will feel right at home on the third floor, where there are lots of interactive stations about biodiversity, forests, and the seasons in and around our region.
- The fourth floor focused on the environment and climate change: Here you can experience up-close adventures in ice, explore the smallest organisms, and learn about our climate.
- If you want to enjoy a spectacular view of the city of Trento, we recommend a detour to the panoramic terrace. Events and special exhibitions are also regularly organised here.
Speaking of special exhibitions: These are held regularly on various themes. You can find the latest exhibitions on the MUSE website.
But do you know what’s the absolute highlight of MUSE? At regular intervals, you can spend a night in the museum – yes, just like in the film with Ben Stiller! It’s called “Nanna al MUSE” (‘A nap in the MUSE’), and the overnight stay takes place for children between ages 4 and 12 with accompanying adults.
