As soon as it gets warmer again, the birds start chirping and the first flowers begin to bud. We humans also come back to life and are drawn outside. Spring is the ultimate refresher! What could be better than enjoying the warming rays of spring sun and the fresh air on a discovery tour in the middle of nature? Where? We recommend the “Wiesenweg” or meadow trail in Schenna. This leisurely circular hike is not too far from the Dolomites and our accommodation in Italy. This path is perfect for exploring the surrounding area: it winds past blossoming apple trees, ripening vines, and all kinds of cultural sites, such as a mausoleum, the parish church, the castles of Thurn and Schenna, as well as St. George's Church. You can also enjoy the magnificent panorama and a view of the Meran countryside. Both nature lovers and culture enthusiasts rejoice!
