The magic of Christmas (markets!)
An enchanting atmosphere awaits you at the South Tyrolean Christmas markets.
The villages and towns in South Tyrol are magically illuminated during the lead-up to Christmas. Fairy lights decorate the streets and houses, and candles flicker behind the window panes. Small huts along the lanes sell aromatic punch or apple juice, and hearty snacks are always on offer if you’re hungry. What will make your stay in the Dolomites, Italy at our accommodation even more special is a stroll through the Christmas markets. We particularly enjoy visiting the nearby Meran Christmas. This market welcomes you until 6 January 2024 with homemade pastries, South Tyrolean Christmas traditions, festively decorated wooden huts and Christmas trees, and original handicraft products. Children aged four and over can paint, do handicrafts, and play in Goldy’s Little House on the upper Passer promenade. On 24 and 31 December, Goldy’s Little House will be transformed into a small cinema showing Disney cartoons.
