Inclusive services
Skiing with children is especially easy at Family Resort Rainer. We have our own ski rental with ski depot and the beginners' slope with magic carpet is right next to the hotel.
Ski instructors from the local ski school offer courses for children 3 years of age (for a fee) in five different levels of ability, twice per week (also in the afternoon).
After the ski course, it’s time for the childcare programme and supervised lunch.
Every Monday, Joe Rainer, who also works as a mountain guide at the Sexten Alpine School, accompanies children from 5 years of age (for a fee) on a taster climbing tour. Climbing, abseiling, and learning knots all morning: a great adventure programme, also for teenagers.
Bread baking at the Rainer Mühle mill
“Old traditions instead of new technologies” – that is the motto when the little ones bake bread like in the old days. In the old mill in the garden of the Family Resort Rainer, children learn how to grind flour, form breads and pretzels, and bake them in the wood-fired before tasting them. Parents are also invited for a little snack.
Torchlight hike in the snow
Stomping through the snow in the dark and illuminating the night sky with a torch is a special experience for young and old. Children can look for animal tracks in the snow and leave them food balls on the tree branches along the way. At the end, adults warm themselves up with a mulled wine and children with a fruit punch around the campfire.
